
7th Cancer Pathology Translational Research Grant competition now open!
OMPRN is thrilled to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 7th Cancer Pathology Translational Research Grant (CPTRG) competition. Our flagship grant program provides up to $100K in funding for collaborative pathology-led projects that advance the field of cancer diagnostic, prognostic or predictive testing. OMPRN Workshop at the OAP 87th Annual Conference
OMPRN has been invited for the 4th consecutive year to host a workshop at the Ontario Association of Pathologists annual meeting. On September 26, 2025 at the Arden Park Hotel Best Western in Stratford, ON, a multidisciplinary panel of experts will present an interactive workshop on “Diagnosing Mismatch Repair (MMR) Deficiency Using Molecular Pathology and Genetics.” Melyssa Aronson, George Charames and Aaron Pollett will cover best practices for MMR biomarker testing using case studies in Lynch Syndrome and sporadic cancer. OMPRN × MLPAO Webinar: Molecular Pathology in the Clinical Laboratory
OMPRN is pleased to collaborate with the Medical Laboratory Professionals Association of Ontario to deliver a webinar as part of their Lab Talks series. The session will explore the role of molecular pathology in clinical diagnostics and personalized medicine, with a focus on practical applications for laboratory professionals.
