Dr/Postdoctoral Fellow, Queen's University, Kingston

Biography

Dr. Hoskin received her PhD in Pathology and Molecular Medicine from Queen’s University where she studied molecular mechanisms regulating breast cancer metastasis, focusing on the cytoskeleton protein ezrin. Her current research as a Postdoctoral Fellow examines the role of ezrin in chemotherapy resistance and whether small molecule inhibitors of ezrin act as chemosensitizing agents using preclinical models. Dr. Hoskin is also a member of the Kingston Research Information Outreach Team which promotes cancer awareness and research at Queen’s and within the local community.
