I completed my undergraduate medical education at McGill University Faculty of Medicine, Montreal, Canada from 2002-2006, followed by Anatomical Pathology Residency Program at University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada from 2006-2011, followed by Breast Pathology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA from 2011-2012. Currently, I am a staff pathologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada, and an assistant professor at University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. My area of clinical expertise is in breast pathology. I also actively participate in medical education and am currently the site director for University of Toronto’s Anatomic Pathology residents, the Director of Education of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Diagnostics, and organizer for our departmental annual CME course “Saturday in Pathology at the University. My recent research interests include assessment of breast specimens post neoadjuvant therapy, the malignant potential of various benign and atypical lesions diagnosed on breast core needle biopsy specimens, and competency-based Anatomic Pathology resident in-service evaluation.
