Brendan Dickson

Biography

Dr. Dickson is a Pathologist in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital, and Associate Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, University of Toronto. He graduated with an MSc in Experimental Pathology from Dalhousie University and MD from the University of Toronto. He undertook residency training in Anatomic Pathology at the University of Toronto and a clinical fellowship in bone and soft tissue pathology, Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania. His primary research interests include improving the diagnosis and prognosis of bone and soft tissue tumours through the application of novel molecular and immunohistochemical assays, and elucidating the molecular mechanisms of sarcomagenesis.
